Can't find system monitor

My computer runs Windows 98 SE and System Monitor does not seem to be included in System Tools. I have looked in Add/Remove Programs, and I have drawn a blank there too. How I can access System Monitor?

Unless you have a very strange copy of Windows 98 SE it should be possible to install System Monitor. After opening Add/Remove Programs, select the Windows Setup tab. Scroll down the list of components until you see System Tools, select it and then click the Details button.

This will bring up a further dialog box from which you can choose the system tools to add or remove. Check the box beside System Monitor, close the dialog boxes by clicking ok, and Windows will install the monitor on your system.
